We have the widest selection of inventory for foreign and domestic auto parts in Santa Rosa, including truck parts, car accessories, performance parts, and vineyard & agricultural parts. We take pride in our Santa Rosa auto parts store. A few years ago, we remodeled our store to highlight our huge inventory of auto parts, truck parts, and car accessories. History
- 1971 to 1974 - Starting in the industry by selling Volkswagen repair parts.
- 1974 - Opened Smothers Parts International specializing in Import Auto Parts.
- 1979 - Evolved into a traditional Auto Parts Store. Started stocking repair and maintenance parts for both Domestic and Import vehicles.
- 1986 - Built and moved into our current building at 2155 Santa Rosa Avenue. Since then we have expanded to 49 employees and stock over 30,000 square feet in auto parts.
- 2009 - Started to provide parts and service for local vineyards.
- Present - We continue to fine tune and grow our inventory to meet our customer needs and the ever changing requirements of new vehicles.
Inventory
One of our strengths is our inventory. Having a vehicle broken down is not a great experience. Waiting for parts to fix your vehicle is the last thing you want when you need to get back on the road. We try to combat this by having the parts you need when you need them. We have over 30,000 square feet of auto parts inventory on hand. Compared to a typical retail auto parts chain store of 5,500 to 7,500 square feet, you can see why parts are more readily available at Smothers.

No matter what you choose we carry only top name brands that meet original manufacturer specifications. However, if you actually seek original equipment parts we have you covered. We stock a number of brands providing parts that are normally only found at a dealership. This includes OE parts for GM, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, BMW, Hyundai, and Kia to name a few.
